Krishu provides:

• A free 6-minute reading assessment for children aged 4-10 years
• Benchmark reports based on Hasbrouck & Tindal reading standards
• Personalized reading improvement plans
• Daily reading practice tasks and tracking (for paid subscribers)
• Progress monitoring and support via WhatsApp

The Service is designed to help parents track their child's reading development and receive guidance for improvement.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information about your child, including age, grade level, and reading assessment responses. Inaccurate information may affect the quality of the assessment results.

3.2 Parent/Guardian Consent

You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom you are requesting the assessment. You are responsible for supervising your child during the assessment process.

3.3 Proper Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended educational purpose and not for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Free Assessment and Paid Services

4.1 Free Assessment

The initial 6-minute reading assessment and benchmark report are provided free of charge.

4.2 Paid Services

Access to daily reading practice plans, progress tracking, and ongoing support may require a paid subscription. Pricing will be clearly communicated before any payment is required.

4.3 Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through approved payment gateways. By subscribing to paid services, you authorize Krishu to charge the agreed amount to your selected payment method.

5. Assessment Accuracy and Limitations

While Krishu uses established benchmarks (Hasbrouck & Tindal norms), please note:

• The assessment is a screening tool and not a diagnostic instrument
• Results are based on the specific sample provided during the assessment
• Reading ability can vary based on factors like time of day, mood, and familiarity with content
• Krishu is not a substitute for professional educational or psychological assessment
• We recommend consulting with teachers or reading specialists for comprehensive evaluation

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points include:

• We collect only necessary information for assessment purposes
• Child data is handled with utmost care and security
• We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing
• WhatsApp communications are subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and tools provided by Krishu, including assessment frameworks, flashcards, audio instructions, and reports, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Reproduce or distribute Krishu materials for commercial purposes
• Modify or create derivative works without permission
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

You may use materials provided to you for your child's personal educational use only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Krishu provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months
• We do not guarantee specific reading improvement outcomes

10. Changes to Terms

Krishu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms and Conditions, without prior notice or liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
